Drew and Jonathan Scott Reveal Which Season 7 Celebrity IOU Guest Is a ‘Property Brother from Another Mother’ (Exclusive)

Drew and Jonathan Scott may have found their long lost brother!

In front of something Celebrity bonds season 7 premiere on Monday, Jan. 1, the twin brothers, 45, talked to PEOPLE about the exciting celebrity guests who worked hard to transform the space for deserving loved ones this season — with a little help Property Brothersof course.

According to Drew, there was one particular guest who clicked with them immediately, almost like “Property Brat from another mother.”

“Ray Romano is one of those people who doesn’t try to be funny — he’s just funny,” he shares. “We were laughing that we almost felt like we were three brothers. He is like a Property Brat from another mother who is a little less dexterous.”

While Romano may not be a master craftsman, Drew adds that his woodworking skills and creative ideas for custom pieces were impressive.

Drew also emphasizes that he is excited to start the new year with this next chapter Celebrity bonds and that he often has to “pinch himself” when he watches these stars try to return to their friends and family.

“You don’t get to see these celebrities the way we present them outside of their shows or on stage,” he explains, adding that the “heartwarming stories” in each episode will bring viewers to tears every time.

Jonathan notes that it’s heartwarming to watch these A-list celebrities “step in and do something they have no experience with. They don’t say no because they want to show their gratitude for how much these people have done for them.”

Along with Roman, the brothers noted that it was inspiring to see other guest stars this season, like Rosario Dawson and Zoe Saldaña, “tear down walls” and fully commit to the rebuilding process. Anna Faris even “jumped in extra days” and arrived at the construction site early without any complaints.

In addition to the aforementioned guests, the brothers will be joined this season by Mayim Bialik, Sterling K. Brown, Fran Drescher and Regina Hall.

Along with a brand new season Celebrity bonds coming in January, the brothers are excited for their fans to see two new projects they’ve been working on, which are expected to premiere in 2023. They are the producers and showrunners of the new HGTV series With the support of The Bros and Don’t hate your house with Property Brothers.

With the support of The Bros is a completely different kind of concept,” Jonathan explains of the upcoming real estate show in which the brothers help families who are “about to lose everything” after investing in risky projects.

He adds: “We come with our teams, with our resources, and we save these projects. It is quite significant to know that we can save these people. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened?”

“There’s a way to transform any home,” explains Drew. “And so, when you see these people who are fed up and think they’ve lost their money, or they’re at their wits’ end, we can show them that you can love your house again.”

Celebrity bonds season 7 will premiere with two new episodes on HGTV this Monday, January 1 at 8:00 PM ET.
