Drew Barrymore’s Rugby Shirt Is the Supreme Fall Style Rihanna Has Worn, Too — and It’s from Gigi Hadid’s Brand

The 50 first dates the actress posted on Instagram and wrote, “Very modest. Very careful,” he wore a bold rugby shirt. And he immediately elicited one response from me: absolute excitement. I was mesmerized by the chunky pattern, the contrasting colors, and even the way she kept it casual with a pair of baggy jeans. A few commenters even asked where it was from and thankfully got an answer.

“Drew always looks so effortlessly chic in our striped rugby 🧶💛,” replied @guestinresidence, the official account for Gigi Hadid’s knitwear brand, which has also been seen on Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. It honestly makes sense because Barrymore’s video appears to be a throwback from when she had a Victoria’s Secret model at her runway show in May.

Finding a similar style that wasn’t $495 (Barrymore’s price) proved more difficult than I expected. Which, come to think of it, doesn’t make any sense since they really are the perfect top for fall. Polo shirts are like half pullover and half T-shirt, which equals warmth without the itchiness. Also, Rihanna and Hailey Bieber wore the style for fall.

Although this one is over $100, it’s the closest iteration I’ve found: the colors are the same, and the pattern is virtually identical. It’s also not cut (although this one is if you like it that way), so it will have that unusual look too.

I’ve had no luck with jeans for years. Skinny jeans were too tight for comfort, pairs of boots felt too old, and pairs of wide legs didn’t do much for my shape. But a pair of flats, which I think are Barrymore’s, changed everything for me.

Because straight leg jeans are looser all around, I don’t feel like I’m walking around in a heavier, less comfortable version of leggings. This pair is steeply discounted on Amazon right now and “actually sits on your waist and fits like a dream,” according to one customer. They are also long enough that they won’t drag on the ground, but will keep my ankles warm.
