The row broke out when the pair met in a restaurant after Troake asked her rival: “Do you want to fuck my boyfriend?”
When Felicity flippantly replied “Yes”, Troake smashed a glass of gin in the real estate agent’s face.
She needed stitches after her lip was slashed during the savage attack and she was left scarred for life.
Troake sobbed when she was spared jail after pleading guilty to unlawful wounding.
She was instead given an 18-month prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to pay £1,000 compensation.
Felicity said after the sentencing: “The fact that she walked away with 100 hours of unpaid work doesn’t affect her in any way.
“The fact is she gets away with it so easily. I’m so disappointed that this is the justice I got.”
Chester Crown Court heard how the attack happened on September 24, 2022, after a day of drinking at the city’s races.
Felicity and her friends were at a restaurant when they ran into Troake and her group of friends.
After making a comment about Troake’s boyfriend, she lashed out at Felicity.
Tom McLoughlin, prosecuting, said: “The defendant hit Miss Calveley in the face with a glass of gin saying ‘Fuck you’.
“Miss Calveley realized there was liquid on her face but she mistakenly thought it was from a glass. She suddenly realized it was her blood.
“The defendant tried to leave but was stopped by members of the public who saw Miss Calveley bleeding. When the police spoke to him, the defendant was bleeding from his hand.
“She later gave a prepared statement. She denied assault, saying Miss Calveley made sarcastic remarks and was verbally abusive. She said she acted in self-defence.”
In a victim impact statement, Felicity told how she was forced to take time off work after the attack knocked her self-esteem down.
She also said she still avoids public places because she feels “vulnerable and intimidated”.
Felicity added: “The scar on my face is a constant reminder of the attack and often leads to questions from others, forcing me to recount the traumatic event over and over again.
”For months after the incident, even smiling was painful, severely affecting my ability to express happiness.
“I suffered from extreme anxiety. especially in social settings. The sound of breaking glass triggers panic attacks and I struggle to relax in crowded spaces.
”I have been diagnosed with mild PTSD and am receiving online cognitive behavioral therapy to control my symptoms.
“I can only go to bars or restaurants with trusted friends which limits my social interactions and support network. The emotional toll of retelling the story of the assault inhibits my ability to form new social connections.”
In addition to probation, Troake was given a restraining order and told to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
Sentencing Mr Recorder Eric Lamb said: “The effects of what you did to Felicity Calveley were long-lasting and significant.
“For your part, you were able to move on from a failed relationship. You moved elsewhere in the country and were able to pursue your chosen career.
“On the contrary, Miss Calveley has made it clear that your actions have caused her to be consumed with anxiety and fear.
“You left her with mild PTSD of the kind that she has to undergo cognitive behavioral therapy to try to overcome.”
