DU B.Tech 2023 Application: University of Delhi is likely to launch DU B.Tech application portal for new engineering program introduced next week. The Dean of Admissions of Delhi University, Haneet Gandhi, while speaking at the admissions webinar clarified the details of applying for engineering courses.

DU has introduced three B.Tech programs from this academic year. Programs offered at the Faculty of Technology include BTech in Computers and Engineering, BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech in Electrical Engineering.

The engineering entrance program will be conducted on the basis of the scores of the students in the main JEE exams. Students’ scores on classroom tests will also be taken into account in the enrollment process.

Eligibility for admission to DU B.Tech

When applying for admission to B.Tech, students must carefully check the admission conditions before filling out the application.

  • Registered candidates must have passed the 12th grade exams in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum score of 60%
  • Applicants should also know English as a subject
  • Candidates must have access to and be eligible to take the main JEE exams

DU B.Tech program vacancies

A total of 360 seats for the B.Tech program. Each program has a total of 120 seats. Applications for the program will be processed through a separate registration portal that will be launched next week.

Seats will be allocated to candidates based on the selections entered by the students when submitting the application.

DU will also provide a financial aid program for students from economically weaker areas, those with a parent’s income below 40,000 will receive a 90% tuition waiver at the time of admission, and students Members with parents’ income from 4 to 8 lakh will receive 50% compensation exemption.
