The ‘dual survival’ destroyed continuity on several levels

Matches that change color are surely one of the most famous gaffes caught by the audience. As a Reddit user duly noted, there was a box of matches that survival experts allegedly discovered in an episode of Double Survival starring Matt Graham and Joe Teti.

“Matt showed them up close and they were matches with a red tip,” the user said. “A few minutes later, as Joe lit the fire, it was clear they were green-tipped matches.”

That’s not all. When Teti was unable to start a fire with the first three green matches, the camera went off and the survivor held the red matches again. The fourth game seemed like a staged script.

However, this was not the only break in continuity that the user discovered. The fire they started went out about 20 minutes later (one day later in screen time) in the same episode. But when Teti returned to light the fire, saying he only had one match left, it worked on the first try.

“I wasn’t even looking for irregularities when I noticed the matches changing color; it was just so obvious,” the user explained.

Later in his forum post, the user accused the show of being a scam for organizing a hunt for survivors. Graham reportedly hand-fished and caught a few trout a few months prior to the above-mentioned exhibition before giving the instructions. His colleague how to do the same.

“The fish were clearly close to death while in the water,” the user noted.

The cast of the series had forged IDs.

But hold on! It has emerged that several members of the show may have landed their roles using falsified resumes. There’s more.

According to a Screenrant article, one of the series’ senior cast members. Dave Canterbury faked being on the show.

He previously stated that he had undergone significant military training. As a sniper, but that turned out to be incorrect. He later even admitted to lying about the YouTube video.

Unfortunately for the show’s directors, Canterbury was fired to hire Teti, who also lied on his resume.

Several veterans exposed Teti, who claimed to have passed. Special Forces Combat and Special Forces Sniper Courses, as a liar and forger.

When former Army Sergeant George Davenport investigated Auntie’s past, he found no records to support Auntie’s claims.
