Andy Mineo, also known as Andrew Mineo at birth, was born on April 17, 1988 in Syracuse, New York. He was an aggressive child raised by a single mother. He had a rough start and was known as a school bully. He described himself as a loud, swearing kid who was always angry and vented through reckless behavior and rashness.
Due to his impulsive behavior, he was kicked out and placed in a correctional facility. After graduating from college, Andy Mineo and a friend formed the rap group “Fat Camp”, which later signed to Marshall Street Records. The group was a big hit when they toured and opened for other hip-hop artists. In 2006, they released their debut album “The Food”. When he met his producer friend, Alex Medina, who re-instilled his faith in Christ, he was forced to close his studio.
