Dwayne Johnson shared a candid and “very emo” moment with his two youngest daughters during an “extra special” trip to Hawaii.
On Sunday, November 24, the 52-year-old actor posted a video on Instagram about a recent experience with the nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish, which aims to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with a critical illness.
Johnson took his daughters Jasmine Johnson, 8, and Tiana Johnson, 6 – who he shares with his wife, Lauren Hashian – with him as he made a special visit to five of the charity’s beneficiaries.

“I try my best to never get emotional in these moments, but I get very emotional watching these things,” he wrote in the video.
The Moana the star went on to say that it’s an “honor” to “grant wishes” for the nonprofit. He also noted that it was “extremely special” that his “two little tornadoes” wanted to join him.
Johnson said he arranged transportation for the five children and their families to meet him and attend Moana 2 world premiere in Hawaii on Thursday, November 21.

“What a beautiful day meeting these kids. Their strength and resilience inspires EVERYONE around them – including me,” the actor added. “To all their moms, dads and siblings I’ve met — I feel it in every hug and handshake. I know. Stay strong.”
He ended his touching post by praising his “amazing partners” at Make-A-Wish, saying those experiences are “the best part of being famous.”
The video features Johnson, Jasmine and Tiana as they meet some of the Make-A-Wish families and hear their personal stories. In it, the former wrestler also receives several gifts from the children, including a handmade clay necklace in his shape Moana character Maui’s fish hook.

Johnson also shares his daughter Simone, 23, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
The actor was joined at the Hawaiian premiere of the film, which was held in Oahu, by his three daughters and his wife. He posed on the red carpet with the foursome and his mom, Atom.
The entire team on the carpet wore flower garlands around their necks. His two younger girls wore matching orange, pink and yellow lace-up dresses, while his older one wore a long floral dress and pendant necklace.
Johnson took to the carpet in a light blue suit, while his wife wore an elegant dark green dress and the mum wore a black and orange patterned ensemble.

The film sequel reunites that title character and Maui three years later for a new ocean-going adventure. “After receiving an unexpected call from her pathfinder ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced,” the film’s synopsis states.
Moana 2 arrives in cinemas on Wednesday, 27.11.
