Dwayne Johnson embraces self-care.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, Johnson, 52, shared a video on Instagram of himself sitting in a vehicle looking out over a field at sunrise, captioning it as “finally learning the importance of self-care.”
“Sitting quietly as the sun rises – to recharge, calm my mind before I go on tour and the madness begins. The world is loud and noisy, pulling us in a million different directions,” Johnson wrote in the caption. “Find your anchor ⚓️ that helps you recalibrate your soul and protect it at all costs,” he added. “After all these years I finally learned the importance of self care. Be good to yourself, protect your anchor and have a great weekend 👊🏾🥃 And have fun— 😉.”
The actor said in the video that he wanted to share “what heaven looks like” with his followers on Instagram.
“Well, there’s a few more things about what morning heaven looks like – I’m going to keep this post clean, but here, look at this – this is my view every morning,” he said in the clip as he panned the camera around.

Johnson said in the video that he traveled to Germany, where he stepped in with his Red lead actor Chris Evans at the upcoming world premiere of the holiday film in Berlin on Sunday, November 3.

“It’s so peaceful here. I love coming up here, I’ll just sit up here for 30, 45 minutes, sometimes longer sometimes shorter. Just fill up, man, and sit in silence,” Johnson said. “Maybe I’ll put on some music, maybe I’ll start singing, and there’s a bunch of bald eagles flying around, and they’re like ‘Please stop singing, we don’t need that s— in the morning.’ This is mine, one of my anchors, I must protect your anchors.”

Johnson’s film Redwhich also stars JK Simmons, Lucy Liu, Bonnie Hunt, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Nick Kroll and Kiernan Shipka, is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia, president of production at Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions.
Jake Kasdan, who previously directed Johnson’s films Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its sequel Jumanji: The Next Level, directed and co-produced the film, which follows Johnson as the head of North Pole security, who “must team up with the world’s most notorious bounty hunter (Evans)” to rescue Santa after he’s kidnapped.
Red it’s in theaters on November 15.
