Dwayne Johnson Surprises Employees During First In-N-Out Burger Experience: ‘Tried to Be Cool AF’

Dwayne Johnson knows a thing or two about walking away Quicklybut he still made sure to stop for a fan while visiting the In-N-Out Burger drive-thru!

On Saturday, the former professional wrestler, 51, shared a video on Instagram in which he surprised In-N-Out employees during his first experience at the restaurant chain.

In the video, as Johnson explained in his caption, he “crawled into my truck and tried to be cool with my order.” But not everything went as planned.

The opening scene in the Instagram video shows Johnson driving and being greeted with “s—” by a surprised employee named Tade.

After Johnson asked for three doubles and seven orders of fries, Tade made his own request: “Is it okay for me and my manager to take a picture with you?”

Johnson complied, but only after jokingly driving away. Other employees at the drive-thru also asked for pictures, and Johnson seemed to make their days, too.

“I didn’t know the language, I didn’t know who to pay, where to pay, I didn’t know s— 🤦🏽‍♂️😂. But I’m learning fast 🧠😉,” he wrote. “Loved everyone’s positive vibes and their ‘holy s— that’s rock’ energy 🩵😂. LOVED the bench 🍔🍟👍🏾.” Johnson also wrote that he loved “how everyone in the car looked at me like I was three heads when I tipped them 💵 🤣.”

Elsewhere in the video, Johnson handed out large tips and even spoke to another customer who responded to him in Spanish. “I don’t speak Spanish, did you just say how handsome I am in person?” he asked jokingly.

The Rock’s trip to In-N-Out also included fist bumps, workers waving and overall excitement as Johnson fed his kids in the back seat. “Thanks In-N-Out for being great and I’ll see ya down the road,” he concluded his inscription.

Johnson has also never been shy about his cheat meal activities. In 2016, when he was named the sexiest man alive, he revealed some of his favorite foods to PEOPLE. As he explained, he eats “massive amounts of cheat food once a week.”

“It can’t just be normal, like, ‘Hey, let’s have burgers and fries, that’s a good cheat meal,'” he said. “No no no. With me, for whatever reason, I have to, as they say, uh gluttony. That’s the word. Yes. Where it has to be a huge amount of something.”

“I have this rule in the house and it drives everyone crazy. One is none. One is none. Take two, three, four, five, just the whole bunch and just spread it all out. Big cheat meals,” he added. “Like OK, what shows are we watching tonight? What crime series do we watch? And then I have those cheat meals and that’s my vice.”
