Although the booking code indicates that Chigvintsev’s charge was for bodily injury to a spouse, Chigvintsev’s wife Nikki Garcia (formerly Nikki Bella) is likely the spouse in question, but that has not yet been confirmed. On Sunday, Sept. 1, TMZ released audio of the Aug. 29 911 call, in which the dispatcher said the dancer claimed Garcia, 40, threw shoes at him.
A rep for Garcia previously told PEOPLE, “This is a private matter and Nikki is asking for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
Chigvintsev’s representative did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
