On Friday, Union, 51, gave fans a peek into how she and the former NBA star, 42, celebrated Valentine’s Day. In a sweet Instagram video, the actress and the couple’s five-year-old daughter Kaavia James serenade Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.”
“Eternal and always kind of love ♥️ @dwyanewade,” Union captioned a post of Corey Mekell singing.
In the video, Union is seen walking into the room wearing an all gray UCLA tracksuit holding her daughter’s hand as the music starts. While The best in LA alum is in awe, swaying to the tune, Kaavia – dressed in a pink skirt – backs away, seemingly thrown by surprise.

Her daughter’s reaction made Union laugh, as she continued listening to the song.
At the end of the video, the two go to a large box with flowers and cards. Union reads to her daughter, which says: “Kaavia, happy day my love Kaavia. Dad loves him and you. Love, Dad.”
Kaavia then leads her mom to the other side of the table and Union opens her card from Wade.

“Happy day of love my love. It’s love forever and always,” the card reads.
When they open the gift, Union sees a large rose quartz crystal, telling Kaavia that it’s a “crystal of love”. The little girl sweetly replies, “You should add that to your collection,” before the video ends.

Wade and Union, who have been married since 2014, welcomed their daughter on November 7, 2018 via surrogate. At the time, they announced her birth on Instagram, writing: “WONDERFUL DAY 👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾 We are sleep deprived and delirious but so excited to share that our baby miracle arrived via surrogate last night and will be born on 11/7. forever be etched in our hearts as the most beautiful of all beautiful days,” they both captioned their posts.

Next month, She is all that star told Oprah Winfrey what she hopes for her daughter’s future.
“We want her to understand that she was so loved, wanted, desired, protected and nurtured when she was just a thought,” Union said. “We want her to know everything it took to bring her into this world, usually the moment she starts responding. We want her to really understand what we went through.”
