Dwyane Wade is spending quality time with his daughters! The former basketball star, 41, hung out with daughters Kaavia, 5, and Zaya, 16, in a sweet family update he shared on social media on Saturday.
In one photo posted on his Instagram Story, Wade posed with Kaavia as the two took a mirror selfie in what appeared to be his wardrobe.
Wade was smiling broadly as he sat with Kaavia, who was resting on his feet and flashing the peace sign, as they posed in front of racks of sneakers and racks of clothes.

The next snap showed Kaavia getting a sweet workout in for the day as she walked on the treadmill at her home gym. “At my own request,” Wade jokingly wrote in the description, tagging the five-year-old.
The three-time NBA champion also posted a few smiling selfies of him and older daughter Zaya on his Instagram Story as the pair sat together outdoors.
Wade shares daughter Kaavia with wife Gabrielle Union. He also shares three children Zaira, 21, Zaya, and Xavier, 10, with ex-wife Siovaughn Funches, and he is the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, 21.
Wade also posted selfies he took with Zaya (16) at home.

Last month, Wade spoke about what “unconditional love” means to him as a parent, revealing that he’s a “great mentor” to his children.
“We’re not judgmental towards each other and we’ve been through a lot of things that a lot of people on the outside would consider something that we don’t look at that way,” the father of five told PEOPLE. “And that’s how I treat my children.”
Wade also talked about wanting to make sure daughter Zaya, who came out as transgender in 2020, feels “safe” and supported by him as her father.
Kaavia was also seen on the treadmill at home in the gym.

“I don’t want to just be one of those people who is just committed to Zaya and she doesn’t feel open and confident in me,” he continued. “I want to show her what unconditional love looks like so she can use me as this sounding board throughout her life.”
“I feel like it’s shown in Zaya,” Wade added. “That’s shown in Zaya all over the world because she’s part of the trans community.”

Wade also talked about being an executive producer on a Netflix short documentary Dadswhich follows five fathers with trans children, helped him rethink his role as Zaya’s father after sharing her identity.
“It was one of those things when a kid finds out there’s no Santa Claus,” Wade told PEOPLE of his initial shock. “You say, ‘Wait, what do you mean? They told me that for a long time.’ But my job is also to move things forward. And if that means receiving criticism or death threats… that’s part of the journey.”
