Eamonn has suffered from numerous health problems in recent years
The wrapped gold and silver ring glinted in the bright sunlight and was matched only by the marriage counselor’s dazzling smile.
A source said: “Katie looked radiant and like a cat that’s been creamed.”
Almost every weekend she leaves her home in Huddersfield, West Yorks, to drive to Eamonn’s luxury flat in Kingston, south-west London.
And it was no different as she made the 4.5 hour journey last Thursday to sneak the presenter into prison at a luxury private estate near leafy Richmond Park.

The Sun told how Katie lifted the ailing 64-year-old TV star’s spirits at his £2million bachelor pad.
And the 42-year-old, who has a history of dating older men, excitedly shared with friends that she and Eamonn were “planning a future together”.
The TV favorite moved out of his and Ruth Langsford’s marital home after his devastated wife discovered texts between him and another mystery woman.
Katie excitedly revealed that their previously ‘close friendship’ “has gone up a few notches,” sources said.
We previously revealed how Eamonn became intimate with a counselor specializing in ‘affairs and betrayals’ months before his marriage fell apart.
Last year, he got close to Katie behind the back of his devastated wife and legend co-host Ruth.

Eamonn, plagued by mobility issues, showered Katie with gifts and trips and befriended her children as their close relationship continued to develop.
The breakfast host treated Katie and her family to a trip to Woburn Safari Park in Bedford in February – even sharing snaps of their outing on social media.
Eamonn has not publicly revealed that he was on a day trip with his new girlfriend.
Katie’s head was just visible in the back of the Jeep he was posing in front of – and unsuspecting fans had no idea of the romance blossoming behind Ruth’s back.
Eamonn spent money to keep Katie cute while his marriage was falling apart.
He treated her and her two youngest children to a stay at Center Parks last year.
Eamonn also spoiled Katie and her daughter with tickets to a Beyonce concert last year as he cemented his closeness with the £45-an-hour therapist.
Keen Manchester United fan Eamonn gave Katie and her children his tickets to a Prem match at Old Trafford last season.
And in a further blow to his now estranged wife Ruth, Katie has repeatedly left her northern home to stay at the four-star Brooklands Hotel in Weybridge, Surrey – just 10 minutes’ drive from Eamonn’s marital home.
Katie was spotted at the sprawling spa destination – next to Mercedes Benz World and the racetrack – in March and was described as a “frequent visitor”.
The counselor told her friends she had enjoyed a ‘wonderful weekend’.
Katie has also been seen on multiple occasions in Belfast, Eamonn’s beloved Northern Ireland.
Timeline of Ruth and Eamonn’s relationship
Before the shock announcement of their split, Ruth and Eamonn appeared to be one of the tightest couples on British TV – even with their signature bickering style.
Here’s how their romance went…
1997 – The couple meet for the first time after being introduced by mutual friends, two years after Eamonn splits from his first wife, Gabrielle, with whom he has three children.
1997-2002 – To show respect for Gabrielle, the couple kept their relationship out of the limelight. Ruth told the Daily Mail: “I thought it said a lot about the kind of man he was, the kind of father he was and the integrity he had. It made me love him more, not less.”
2002 – Ruth and Eamonn welcome their son Jack to the family.
2005 – Eamonn finalizes his divorce from Gabrielle.
2006 – The pair begin co-hosting episodes of This Morning on Fridays.
2010 – Eamonn proposes to Ruth while at the Cheltenham races, after asking Ruth’s mother for her hand in marriage.
June 2010 – Eamonn and Ruth married at Elvetham Hall, Hampshire.
2016 – Eamonn undergoes double hip replacement in first of many health battles.
June 2019 – On This Morning, Ruth and Eamonn reveal the secret to their happy marriage. Eamonn credits “compromise, consideration and a lot of marriage”, while Ruth said it was “laughter and an equal marriage”.
November 2020 – Ruth and Eamonn are replaced in their regular Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a ‘show shake-up’.
December 2021 – After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth have left This Morning.
January 2022 – Eamonn makes his debut on GB News, while Ruth remains on ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women.
September 2022 – Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back problems, including a pinched sciatic nerve.
November 2022 – Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring further surgery.
September 2023 – Eamonn has a spine and neck stretch procedure as part of his year-long recovery.
May 2024 – Ruth and Eamonn announce their separation after 14 years of marriage and 27 years of relationship.
Also last October, the TV star attended a small fundraising event for Yorkshire mental health charity Platform 1 – agreeing to become a patron. It was only a few minutes from Katie’s home.
The charity – a nine-hour round trip from Eamonn’s home – is where his new trusted therapist worked for up to two years.
Eamonn then beamed with staff at her local restaurant, Arthur’s.
He happily posted the picture online, but again fans had no idea about the poignancy of the picture.
Divorced mother-of-three Katie met Eamonn via Twitter after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation in 2015.
Friends say Katie’s counseling specialties – including ‘affairs and betrayals’, ‘feeling sad’ and ‘separation and divorce’ – are a ‘bitter irony and a kick in the teeth for Ruth’.

Cracks began to appear in the relationship of the popular duo, and they were not photographed together for two years.
But Ruth stuck around to help Eamonn through his medical crisis.
Sidro had a double hip replacement in 2016.
He had back surgery last year, but because of that he was able to use a wheelchair.
And in January, he broke his shoulder in a fall.
Ruth (64) confided in her closest friends that there was “no turning back” for the marriage.
She and twice-married Eamonn met in 1997 and gave birth to their son Jack in 2002.
They won millions of fans by co-presenting ITV’s This Morning between 2006 and 2021.
He recently starred on the breakfast show on GB News.
Eamonn has three children from his first marriage.
