Ed Kelce Calls Out ‘Troll’ Bethenny Frankel Over ‘Peacock’ Comments About Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

  • Ed Kelce called Bethenny Frankel a “troll” for her comments about Travis and Taylor’s relationship
  • The former reality star and tight end called the “Karma” singer “peacocks”
  • Frankel also recently commented on Donna Kelce’s Ziploc partnership

Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, is not happy with former reality star Bethenny Frankel after she commented on his son’s relationship with Taylor Swift.

The 53-year-old former Bravo star broached the subject while applying makeup in an Instagram video. Frankel said Travis, 34, “likes to be the center of attention” and compared him to one of her ex-boyfriends.

The former Bravo star’s statement included her doubts about the longevity of the couple’s relationship. “When you get into real life, you get into kids and marriage and stuff like that… It’s not easy. Relationships take work,” she said in the video.

Frankel added, “And it’s hard, because Taylor Swift is definitely a peacock. So really, there can usually only be one peacock in a relationship.”

After Ed learned of Frankel’s comments, through a Newsweek story, he took to Facebook and asked, “Who TF is this troll?”

Meanwhile, Frankel’s comments about Taylor and Travis aren’t the first she’s made about the Kelce family.

In a TikTok posted on February 14, she lashed out at Donna Kelce’s partnership with Ziploc.

“I want to know why Travis Kelce’s mom got paid for pictures of Ziploc bags coming out of her purse. I was documented on housewives with my bathing suit stored in Ziploc bags,” Frankel said before asking, “Why didn’t I get paid?”

It’s no surprise that Ed came to the defense of his son and the “Karma” singer. In October, he told PEOPLE that Swift is “very sweet” and shared a story about the 14-time Grammy winner cleaning up the trash in their family suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

“We are sitting in the apartment, she also gets up in the front room, gets up to go get a drink or something and starts collecting empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in apartments everyone gets stuff, and you empty it wherever you can,” said Ed.

“And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the memo from the diva. She didn’t get a spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to do it. And that really told me a lot,” he continued.

Travis seemingly lets his comments roll as he continues to celebrate another Super Bowl victory for the Kansas City Chiefs. The tight end spent Saturday night in Las Vegas with his team celebrating. And while his girlfriend couldn’t be there to party in person in the midst of her international Eras Tour, she was there in spirit.

In a video taken by the XS nightclub in Wynn Las Vegas, where the crew partied, Kelce can be seen getting excited as Swift’s “Love Story,” 34, plays in the club. Marshmello, meanwhile, stood atop the DJ booth behind Kelce and several other Chiefs members as the entire crowd sang Swift’s 2008 hit.

Kelce held a bottle of water and a towel in hand as he pumped his fists in the air to the beat, then jumped up and down during the song’s chorus.
