Ellie Goulding and her son Arthur are all dressed up.
On Sunday, November 10, the singer (37) shared a rare photo on Instagram with her and ex-husband Caspar Jopling’s 3-year-old son, Arthur. In the sweet photo, the mother-son duo can be seen dressed as Marvel characters Spiderman and Miles Morales, while the proud mom kisses her boy on the cheek.
Goulding, who hardly ever shows her son on social media, made sure Arthur’s face was covered by a Miles Morales mask in the picture.

Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling broke up after 4 and a half years of marriage: ‘We remained the closest of friends’
The Grammy nominee has long been open about her struggles with anxiety, and in April 2023, she told PEOPLE that since welcoming Arthur, she’s experienced new ups and downs with her mental health.
“It was exhausting at times… Being around Arthur automatically wore off [my anxiety] away, and I feel like my body is trying to mess with me because it’s biologically saying, ‘We want you to be with Arthur all the time,'” explained Goulding, who felt anxious stepping back from work as a new mom.
“I had no choice but to put myself and motherhood first, and then everything else I will do to the best of my ability.”

In February 2024, the “Love Me Like You Do” singer and Joping (32) publicly announced that they were separating after 4 and a half years of being together.
“In light of recent stories, I feel I have no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I parted ways privately some time ago,” Goulding wrote on Instagram Stories. “We remain the closest of friends and successfully co-parent in the best interests of our sons. We are committed to protecting our family’s privacy and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes – we will not comment further. Thank you.”
The “Don’t Need Nobody” artist also re-shared Jopling’s message on Instagram Stories, which read: “Hi guys – hope you’re having a good day. I feel (sadly) I have to say something about me and Ellie’s current relationship situation, I hope will do more than anything to dispel any final tabloid speculation, Ellie and I made the decision to divorce some time ago.”
He continued: “Our immediate family and close friends have known for some time – otherwise we’ve decided to do what we can to keep this private. Ellie and I remain the closest of friends and, most importantly, ‘co-parents’ to the best kid in the world, Arthur, this is last thing I want to say – and please respect my privacy and Ellie’s. Thank you very much, Caspar.
