Elton John and David Furnish shower their son with love on his birthday.
On Thursday, the couple shared a sweet photo in a joint Instagram post to celebrate their son Elijah’s 11th birthday. The photo shows a white birthday cake decorated with stars, candles and sprinkles with the message “Happy Birthday Elijah” written on top in red.

Elton John says he and David Furnish will ‘fully support’ sons whether they go into music or not
The singer and his husband are the parents of sons Zachary (13) and Elijah.
In 2022, John shared with Hey! News whether his two sons were into the music as the family appeared at Saks Fifth Avenue’s holiday window unveiling in New York.
“They’re still so young, so I’m not entirely sure,” the singer said. “Of course, whatever their dreams and ambitions are, my husband David and I will fully support them.”
John previously brought his family to the stage at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last weekend, where he performed the final show on the North American leg of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. As the reason for his retirement, he lovingly presented his brood.

“Of course I’m looking forward to spending more time with my sons,” John said Hey! News. “I’m also looking forward to being able to devote more time to other projects, such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation.”
When Goodbye Yellow Brick Road singer penned a sweet letter to Zachary and Elijah for his 75th birthday in 2022, he took a minute to reflect on where life has taken him.
You are now 11 and 9, and when I was your age, I could not have dreamed where life would take me, John wrote. “Looking back over the past 75 years, there’s so much I’m proud of, so much I’ve learned.
“When I was young, I was told to fit in, to do what others expect even when it doesn’t seem right. Now I realize that I can only be me. Being true to myself has given me a voice and helped me face with your greatest fears.”
John added: “Whoever you grow up to be, just be – completely and utterly you.”
