Elton John does not include his own songs on his reproduction list!
On Friday, February 7th, the “Rocket Man” singer, 77, appeared on Show Scott Mills Breakfast which broadcasts on the BBC Radio 2 and BBC sounds, along with Brandi Carlile, who works with him on the upcoming collaborative album, Who believes in angels?.
He discovered that “never” listens to his classic song unless he had to.
“I wouldn’t go and put on my old music,” John said. “I had to approve the live album that was just released for the Day of Records I worked in Rainbow in 1977 with Ray Cooper and that is just amazed how it was great.”

He continued, “It was amazing! Well, I had to listen to it, but I really really enjoyed it and I was pretty surprised how good it was, ”he said modestly, but I was! ”
The songwriter had to re -review the recordings of past performances and his classic songs, working on the 2024 documentary. Elton John: Never too late.
“Yes, I just got so much memories,” he said. “What I was most surprised was that the music we made since 1970 – in 1975. She was so good!”
He added, “I don’t listen to my things, but we made a lot of great records. At that time we made 13 albums plus single, plus B side, and we visited, and we worked and the momentum was amazing.”

The music icon admitted that he could not remember watching the recordings of himself singing his song “Candle in the Wind” from 1973.
“I never look at anything about myself, because I just don’t like to watch myself,” said the singer “Your song” adding, “I’m not one to succeed.”
John admitted that he was “a little tense” for the first time he watched a documentary about his career.
“But the second time I saw him, I very much loved him and I thought it really knocked out what I thought was my career and how it turned out to be and that was the whole point of that, you know, it’s never too late, “He said.

John attributed Music for saving him after he was in a “really bad place” before he was sober in 1990.
“He almost killed me, but it saved me because I didn’t just hide, I just continued to produce records, however good or bad, I just continued to do it,” he said. It was just, all my life turned to, I found David, we had boys, and as you see in the documentary, I am the happiest man in the world and the happiest. ”
John shares Zachary Jackson’s sons, 14, and Elijah Joseph, 12, with his wife David Farnish, with whom he has been more than three decades.
