Emily Maynard Johnson is just having fun.

Former Bachelor, 37, shared a photo to her Instagram Story on Monday showing son Jones West , 17 months. At first glance, it would appear that the toddler is in a fleece top while sitting in his walker in the pool.

A closer look, paired with Maynard Johnson’s explanation, shows that he’s actually sitting in his walker in the photo that got the AI ​​background.

“I’m old and I just figured out the AI ​​feature on Instagram,” the mom of five joked. “Jones was in the safety of his walker in our living room when this picture was taken. Not in the pool.”

Maynard Johnson also used the post as an opportunity to ask moms for suggestions on how to get Jones, who was born with Down syndrome, to use a straw.

Maynard Johnson welcomed Jones, who was also born with a rare congenital abnormality of the colon, in August 2022. “I am so grateful,” Maynard Johnson told PEOPLE exclusively at the time. “But I’m still on my way to processing everything. And I have to trust that everything will work out.”

“I was in shock,” recalled Maynard Johnson of the moment she was told she had Down syndrome. “It wasn’t on my radar at all. And I refused to believe it. I just wanted to hold him and make everything okay.”

“He’s the easiest baby and he’s just been our biggest blessing,” she said. “I’m still learning about Down syndrome, but I’m also trying to experience Jones as Jones, not different from any other kids.”
