Alexander-Arnold, 25, hit the brakes and swerved before hitting the BMW X5.

The shaken Liverpool star was then seen getting out and talking to another driver.

Both miraculously escaped unhurt in the crash on a wet country road near Knutsford, Cheshire.

It came as Storm Babet caused chaos across the country, leaving three people dead.

A source said: “The wind was so strong that it suddenly uprooted the pole. It was really scary. It’s a miracle that no one was hurt. Someone could have easily been killed.

“What are the chances of that happening? Alexander-Arnold must feel like he cheated death.

“A few seconds later and it could have gone through his windshield. It’s absolutely treacherous out there.”

The police were called to the scene of the accident yesterday morning and the electricity was cut off.

The photos show Alexander-Arnold standing by his car near a bollard that has been pulled across the road with wires dangling.

The front of his black Range Rover was damaged, while the white BMW veered into a hedge and lost its headlight.

Alexander-Arnold, who lives nearby, is believed to have later attended training ahead of today’s lunchtime clash against Everton at Anfield.

The accident happened days after he partied in a London nightclub with England team-mates, including Jude Bellingham and Jack Grealish, following the Three Lions’ qualification for next summer’s Euros.

Cheshire Police said yesterday: “We were called at 10.34 this morning to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.

“The pole fell on the road and caused an accident.

“No one was injured and everything was cleared by May 13.

“We called the power company and they turned off our electricity.”

Alexander-Arnold’s agent has been contacted for comment.
