Jack Grealish has one new member to add to his squad.
The British soccer player, who plays for Manchester City and the England national team, announced on Instagram that he and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, Mila Rose Grealish, on Friday, September 27.
The Monday, October 7 post included a black-and-white photo of a little girl’s hand holding one of her parents’ pinky fingers.
“Dear Rose Grealish π©΅. 27/09/24,β the soccer star simply commented on the post.

Several of his current and former teammates congratulated the new parents in the comments.
Current Manchester team-mate Marcus Rashford commented, ββ€οΈ.β
“β€οΈπ”, wrote English national team player and Arsenal Premier League player Declan Rice. Arsenal player Alex Zinchenko added, “Congratulations to you both bro β€οΈ.”
Aston Villa’s Ross Barkley commented: “Well done lad.”

Attwood also posted the same picture of the newborn on her Instagram profile. “27/09/24 Mila Rose Grealish π©·. The most special moment of my life β¨,β she captioned her Oct. 7 Instagram post.
Attwood’s followers celebrated the couple’s arrival in the comments section. “Well done mom, so glad you are both ok!!! Sending you so much love,” wrote one user.

The newlywed parents met for the first time while they were students at the Roman Catholic high school St. Peter’s in Solihull, England. The couple started dating when they were 16, but had an on-and-off relationship over the years, according to The Irish Mirror.
The couple announced they were trying in July, posting a sweet Instagram photo of Grealish holding Attwood’s growing baby bump. βHalf me, half youβno blessing β¨π€ππ»,β Attwood captioned the photo.
Meanwhile, Grealish posted the same photo but captioned it: “Life’s biggest blessing πΆπ»π©΅.”
After the initial announcement, Attwood shared several photos of her growing baby bump, including a pregnancy photo shoot of the couple in late September.
