AS wildlife leaves their winter slumber to embrace the warm spring weather, a creature lurking among palm trees has become a viral sensation.

The photo became a fun challenge when it was shared by user Midsouthgunlawyer on Reddit’s Find The Sniper forum.
They tasked observers to spot an animal hiding in plain sight.
“I’m from Tennessee. Chickens in the tree are new to me,” they said.
“Location: Duck Key, Florida.”
At first glance, the photo appears to show nothing but palm trees and what could be a pool in the lower right corner.
However, there is more to the picture than meets the eye.
It takes 20/20 vision to spot a “chicken in a tree” in 20 seconds or less.
Many Reddit users admitted to being confused by the brain teaser before realizing that “chicken in a tree” is a slang term for a reptile.

“I was definitely looking for real chicken lol,” one person said.
“I was looking for chickens,” wrote another. “I’m in Michigan and my brother’s free-range chickens were always up in the trees [laughing].”
“I was looking for a real chicken, I had a friend who had a ton of chickens and they would climb trees,” commented a third.
