The photo was shared on Reddit’s Find The Sniper forum by a user who posted under the name BigErnMcracken.

It became a seek-and-find puzzle after Redditors were invited to spot the lynx.

This wild animal is known to live in a range of habitats including forests, grasslands and wetlands.

If you can’t solve a puzzle in 30 seconds or less, it’s unlikely you’d notice one in your backyard.

Can you beat the clock?

Many Reddit users admitted that they were confused by the challenge and had to search for a solution.

“Omg I would have never seen that!! That’s crazy!” said one person.

“He’s like a ghost out there,” interjected another.

“Oh my God, what camouflage,” commented a third. “I got a physical jolt of ‘wow!’ when it actually clicked for me.”

“I literally couldn’t find it if my life depended on it,” wrote another.

Anyone can see the snow behind the trees, but without 20/20 vision it’s easy to miss a mischievous kitty.
