She also insisted she is single – despite rumors of a romance with Strictly’s Pete Wicks.

Irish star Maura, 33, told The Sun yesterday: “I’m still on Vegas time. I’m not well

“Sin City killed me. Honestly, it’s not good. I feel like your man from The Hangover, like, shaking and all.

“It was amazing, just very exhausting. It was like, right, a lot on . . . when we landed, just jet lag, no sleep.

“I have no idea what day it is today. I don’t know where I am, I’m so confused.”

She added: “I don’t really drink champagne, I’m more of a red wine drinker.” You know, it gives you a bad hangover.”

In Vegas, she partied with Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon and watched Adele at her Caesars Palace residence before jetting off to Oz, where she landed on Monday.

Despite Maura having a great time, some of her fans weren’t too happy about the trip.

She said: “My DMs were ‘Why are you in Vegas? You should be in Australia. I bet you’d win the show!’ “

She will enter the jungle as a latecomer alongside former Strictly star Reverend Richard Coles, 62.

She’s caused quite a stir in recent months after she was caught cozying up to heartthrob Pete.

It seems that the former Towie dude (36) has found himself in a love triangle with Maura and his dance partner Jowita Przystal (30), with whom he became close

But when asked about her relationship with Pete, Maura insisted: “I’m not, I’m not. Where did you hear that?

“I mean, I go on dates, but I’m mostly alone.”

Maura rose to fame on Love Island in 2019 when she arrived as a bombshell on the ITV2 dating show.

She immediately bristled and sparked hundreds of Ofcom complaints after she stepped on and tried to kiss boxer Tommy Fury when he was partnered with influencer Molly-Mae Hague.

Fans loved her fiery, honest personality — and she’ll be bringing that attitude straight to the I’m A Celebrity camp.

Maura said, “I mean, I’m not going to go in and destroy anybody.

“But obviously, if someone gets on my nerves, I’m not one of those people who can hold it back. I speak my mind.

“I think I’ve matured, but I still have a small mouth.”

She also joins the ranks of campaigners desperate to question Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen, 38, about the Wagatha Christie saga.

Maura said, “I want to talk to her about it. I’m a little curious like that.”

I am a celebrity in 2024

I’m a Celebrity returns for its 24th series, featuring a group of famous faces living in the Australian jungle. The Sun’s Jake Penkethman took a look at the stars on this year’s show..

Coleen Rooney – probably the most famous name in the camp, the leading WAG, famous for her marriage to Wayne Rooney, has made a big return to TV as she looks to put the Wagatha Christie scandal behind her. The Sun revealed the mum-of-four has landed a deal worth more than £1.5m to be on the show this year, making her the highest-paid contestant ever.

Tulisa – The pop star and former X Factor judge made her triumphant TV return by signing up for this year’s I’m A Celeb after years of avoiding TV shows. Famous for being a member of trio, N-Dubz, Tulisa became a household name back in 2011 when she signed on to replace Cheryl on ITV’s The X Factor in a multi-million dollar deal.

Alan Halsall – The actor, known for his long-running role as Tyrone Dobbs in ITV’s Coronation Street, was originally signed to host Down Under last year, but surgery knocked out his planned appearance. Now he has become the latest Corrie star to win over both viewers and his fellow celebrities.

Melvin Odoom – Radio DJ has become a regular face on TV screens after making a name for himself with leading roles on Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1 and 4Music. GK Barry – Britain’s biggest social media personality, GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, has turned her TikTok fame into a lucrative career. In addition to her popular social media channels, she hosts a weekly podcast, Saving Grace, and appears regularly on ITV talk show, Loose Women. Dean McCullough – A rising star among this year’s celebrity crowd, Dean first came to notice with his radio appearances on Gaydio and BBC Radio 1. He was selected to join the BBC station permanently in 2021 and has been featured ever since. He has enjoyed a move to ITV over the past year thanks to a guest appearance on Big Brother spin-off show Late & Live.

Oti Mabuse – professional dancer has signed up for her latest TV show after working her way through the biggest programs on the box. She originally rose to fame on Strictly Come Dancing, but has since branched out into the world of TV judging with appearances on former BBC show The Greatest Dancer, as well as her current role on ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

Danny Jones – The McFly star was added to the program at the last minute as a replacement for Tommy Fury. Danny is the second member of McFly to enter the jungle, after Dougie Poynter won the show in 2011. Maura Higgins – The Irish TV beauty first shot to fame on Love Island where she had a brief fling with dancer Curtis Pritchard. Since then she has competed in Dancing on Ice, as well as hosting the Irish version of the beauty pageant, Glow Up. She even guest starred in an episode of the spin-off, Love Island Games, last year instead of Maya Jama.

Reverend Richard Coles – Former BBC radio presenter Reverend Richard Coles is late for I’m A Celebrity and is ready to spill the beans about his former employer. The former Communards and Strictly star said the BBC didn’t know its a**e from its elbow last year. An insider said: “Rev Coles will have a variety of stories to tell from his wild days as a pop star in the Eighties, to his appearances on Strictly and his later life as a man of the cloth.”

Meanwhile, Reverend Coles will be praying he won’t be forced to work on the height challenge.

The 62-year-old former pop star and pastor is terrified of heights and says he will “absolutely” call on his faith to help him with his tasks.

Admitting which temptations he is most afraid of, he said: “Everything at a high level.”

“I actually froze with fear on the ladder the other day.

“So anything that involves walking on some horrible, wobbly tightrope or something.”
