Faizal Malik was born in 1980 (42 years old; as of 2022) in Gopalganj district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He studied for a business degree. At the age of 22, he came to Mumbai to pursue an acting career. According to Faizal, he has had a keen interest in acting since his school days. He has participated in many exhibition competitions. After coming to Bombay, Faisal’s first job was in the Sahara.

Faizal’s late father was a clerk in the irrigation department and his mother was a government teacher. In 2021, the actor suffered a significant personal loss as his father passed away due to Covid 19. According to Malik, his mother worked as a teacher for nearly 20 years. Faizal had two older brothers, one of whom died of kidney failure, and two younger sisters, one of whom committed suicide after failing a school exam.

The four bungalows where I live, Kailash Kher also lives in the same one. I went and told him, man, I still have to work. When I came to Mumbai, it became clear to the real world that the world we live in is not this world. Mumbai is an independent city. Here, knowing the picture does not mean we see the world. One has to read the movie, one has to understand. Then I get to work. Earlier the salary was Rs 750, later it was Rs 900 and the salary was also Rs 1,200.
