Faiz Baloch started his journey as a social media influencer while studying in college. There, he was part of a motorcycle group consisting of Faisal Shaikh, Hasnan Khan, Adnan Shaikh and Shadan Faruqui. The group is called Team 07. They later created an account on Musical.ly, which merged with TikTok in 2018.

They started posting lip-syncing videos and comedy skits on the app, which gained them popularity in India. By 2019, Faiz had gained over 5 million followers on the app. He lost followers after the app was banned in 2020 after India and China clashed in the Galwan Valley. Baloch then started posting photos and videos on his Instagram account. Later, he created accounts on numerous applications such as Moj, Josh, and ShareChat. As of November 2023, Faiz has more than 9.6 million followers on Instagram. As of November 2023, he had over 26 million followers on the Josh app.

TikTok account suspended
In July 2019, the accounts of Team 07 members were suspended by TikTok. According to sources, their accounts were banned after Shiv Sena IT cell chief Ramesh Solanki filed an FIR against the members for posting a video on the app in which they criticized criticized the lynching of Tabrez Ansari, a 24-year-old Muslim man, and said: “Innocent Tabrez was killed, but if Tabrez’s son grows up and takes revenge, then Muslims should not be Called a terrorist.” TikTok said in its official statement,
TikTok has zero tolerance for content that incites violence against other users or any content that violates its Community Guidelines. Accordingly, the video violates our Community Guidelines and will no longer be available on TikTok. This type of irresponsible behavior will not be tolerated on our platform, so we have suspended three user accounts and are cooperating with law enforcement agencies. The three user accounts belong to Hasnain Khan, Faisal Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui respectively. “
Team 07 has since uploaded another video on their social media, seeking an apology and a promise that similar incidents will not happen again. Later, their accounts were unbanned.
