The quiet luxury queen strikes again.
On Thursday, November 14, Sofia Richie Grainge brought her it-girl style to her appearance at the Therapuss podcast — and eagle-eyed fans spotted a particularly lavish addition.
While speaking to host Jake Shane, Sofia, 26, opted for a simple yet chic outfit of jeans, a white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. But her accessories were the real star of the show. Accompanied by some gold bracelets (and her massive diamond engagement ring from husband Elliot Grainge, of course), the model wore a Cartier Crash watch.
TikTok viewers were quick to note the high price of the watch, which is recognizable by its distorted oval face. Depending on the style, the Crash can sell for up to $300,000. The design he wears – with a brown leather strap and a gold face – is likely to cost around $200,000-250,000.

Known for its signature “melted” face design, the Cartier Crash has gained popularity in recent years thanks to celebrities like JAY Za, Tom Brady and Timothée Chalamet, according to Sotheby’s.

“Cartier’s unique design focuses on the fundamentals of form, playing with simple shapes such as a circle or a square and then bending, elongating or compressing them in a manner that is highly refined,” reads an article on the auction house’s website. “The asymmetry of the Cartier Crash, for example, looks almost as if Cartier took an oval and smashed it completely.”

The post continues: “Legend has it that the idea for Crash came when a Cartier client brought his damaged Cartier Baignoire from a car accident to his London home in 1967.”
Sotheby’s also points out that while the watch resembles Salvador Dali’s famous painting Persistence of Memory, the design has nothing to do with the artwork.
While talking to Shane, 25, Sofia revealed that her five-month-old daughter Eloise already had her own mobile phone. “Eloise has a little baby phone, which we can text, or I like to text,” the host said, adding, “I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!'”
The new mum explained: “Whoever is with Eloise gets the phone. So at that moment Ali was sitting with Eloise.”
Shane then shared how his last text exchange with Eloise’s phone went: “I said, ‘Eloise, would you mind if me and your mom talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you’.”
“We talked,” Sofia joked. Shane then joked: “Eloise has a bit of an attitude.”
