CHINESE duo Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi stunned spectators with their flawless synchronized jump in the women’s 10m platform final this week.
Quan and Chen dominated their opponents on Wednesday to win gold, beating Korea, Great Britain and Canada.

But one jump in particular stunned fans.
As they attempted a backflip, the pair were perfectly in sync – so much so that many viewers thought they were watching just one person.
One viewer took to social media and wrote: “I really had to watch this twice to realize there were two divers!
“No wonder China has won every Olympic gold since the synchronized 10m platform was introduced in 2000.”
Another said: “That’s totally crazy… Beautiful!”
A third wrote: “I didn’t realize it until I saw it in slow motion and my jaw dropped.”
While a fourth commented: “That was actually amazing!!”
Despite winning a medal, Quan and Chen were not satisfied with the performance.

Quan told reporters: “I’m not happy with our performance. All the dives were mediocre.”
And Chen added: “Before the event, I felt a little nervous and some pressure. I didn’t manage those emotions very well.

“My performance was a little unstable and I didn’t handle well some details in the jumps.
“It was the Olympics after all. Who wouldn’t feel the pressure?”
China won the women’s 10m synchronized platform final with a huge score of 359.10 – over 43 points ahead of second place Korea.
British team stars Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson won bronze on the day.
