Now, following the disappointing Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets In a recent interview with Film magazine, Yates revealed that box office receipts Movie Insider The podcast (via GamesRadar) states that the franchise is “park.” While there were originally plans to tell Newt Scamander’s story over five films, it appears that’s not coming to fruition at this time. “With ‘Beast,’ everything was put on hold. We shot these three movies, and the last one was shot during the pandemic, which was fun but also tough. We were actually doing it without a vaccine. Photographed below. Thankfully, no one got sick, but we did have the most detailed protocols in place.
“We are all proud [Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore] As it goes out into the world, we just need to stop, pause, and relax. The idea that there will be five movies comes as a surprise to most of us. Joe just mentioned it spontaneously at a press conference. No one told us there would be five, we were only promised the first one.
“I’m sure at some point, we’ll be back. But, yeah, I haven’t spoken to Joe yet, I haven’t spoken to [producer] David Heyman, I haven’t talked to Warner Bros. yet; we’re just taking a break. That’s great. “
