FORMER Coronation Street star Faye Brookes has married her friend of ten years in a wedding fit for a fairytale.

Faye wore a see-through corset-style wedding dress with an A-line skirt.
She paired the off-the-shoulder gown with a veil, which trailed along the floor.
After leaving Shipton Moyne Church in the Cotswolds, the happy couple jumped into a classic car as they were waved off by guests.
Ex Corrie star Faye looked on top of the world on her big day – just ten months after falling for her now-husband.
The 35-year-old first met theatre boss Iwan Lewis in the West End stage version of Legally Blonde in 2012, but it took a decade for their friendship to turn romantic.
She got together with Iwan at the end of last year following her split with her personal trainer boyfriend of three-years Joe Davis in July.
They moved in together straight away and just four months later Iwan got down on one knee.
Faye has been engaged before to former Pop Idol star Gareth Gates.
The pair eventually broke up in 2019, with Gareth demanding the £300,000 ring be returned.
Now it looks like Faye has finally found her Happily Ever After with Iwan as they embark on married life together.
They were keen to get hitched as soon as possible, with Faye secretly planning her big day behind the scenes at Strictly Ballroom.
An insider told us she finished her stint on the show last month and it’s been all stations go to pull off her dream wedding.
The ceremony was thought to be an intimate, low key affair – with just their nearest and dearest in attendance.
Faye even decided to ditch a celeb-packed guest list, choosing to focus on drama school friends and their oldest pals instead.”
She did make an exception however – her on-screen dad Johnny Connor, played by Richard Hawley.
He proudly looked on as she said I Do in front of her loved ones.
Faye played Kate Connor in Corrie for four years until 2019.
She went on to become a runner-up on Dancing On Ice in 2021.
Most recently she worked alongside Kevin Clifton in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical.
