Frank began appearing on the television show American Pickers with his high school friend Mike Wolfe. The series premiered on January 18, 2010, and follows two childhood friends who travel across America in search of expensive antiques to make money.

The friendship and chemistry between the two is evident as they have always shared a hobby of collecting. They were so close that people started to assume they were gay and considered them a couple.
