Frankie Muniz was left with a limp after his car crashed at a recent NASCAR race.
On Friday, Nov. 8, the professional driver, 38, lost control of his car after being rear-ended during the Craftsman Truck Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz., according to various reports.
A video shared by sports reporter Noah Lewis on X (formerly Twitter) showed Muniz in obvious pain after a “heavy hit.”
“I’m fine,” the former actor told reporters after the race, according to footage shared on X. “I felt like I got a good chance to run with some guys, I made a few passes. I lost a few places on the restarts and then came back I passed them again. It was good for me to figure out how to pass people.

Despite the accident, Muniz remains optimistic and said he is “so excited” for next season. “This year wasn’t what we hoped for, but this proved that I can race with the guys, I can pass here. We’ll be better next year, and I’ve got the whole offseason to prepare. I’m going for it,” he said .
