QUEEN Elizabeth was reportedly furious after Harry and Meghan said she gave her blessing for their daughter to be named Lilibet, insiders claim.

The angry monarch is said to have told aides: “I don’t own palaces, I don’t own paintings, the only thing I own is my name. And now they’ve taken that from me,” a source told MailOnline.

The dispute erupted after the calamity in the new biography: Charles III: New King, New Court. The story inside.

Author Robert Hardman said a member of the late Queen’s staff revealed she was “as angry as I’ve ever seen her” when the Duke and Duchess publicly said they wouldn’t have used her private family nickname if she hadn’t been “supportive.”

The BBC’s royal correspondent, Jonny Dymond, claimed he heard from a “palace insider” that Harry and Meghan “never asked” the Queen about her childhood nickname.

Dymond said his source “disputes” reports that Harry and Meghan spoke to the Queen to get her approval before announcing the name.

But a spokesperson for the Sussexes quickly dismissed the allegations, insisting that the Queen was the first family member Harry had contacted with the happy news of the birth of his long-awaited daughter.

He said that during their conversation, he “shared their hope to name their daughter Lilibet in her honor. If she hadn’t been supportive, they wouldn’t have used that name.”

Full of explosive claims, the book also said Prince William was left furious after Harry’s “blatant attack” on Kate in his Netflix documentary with Meghan.

The Duke of Sussex claimed there is a “temptation or urge” for royal men to marry someone who “fits the mold” in his explosive Netflix documentary.

On the Netflix series, Harry said: “I think for so many people in a family, especially men, there might be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who fits the mold as opposed to someone you’re meant to be with.

“The difference between making a decision with your head or your heart.”

But his comments – which could be seen as mocking his brother’s wife Princess Kate – reportedly left Wills furious.

The fascinating biography includes new testimonies from royal staff, friends and senior politicians.

The Queen’s most senior staff member, Sir Edward Young, describes the moment of her death, saying she “slipped out” and was “not aware of anything”.

The real reason Princess Kate didn’t go to Balmoral to see the Queen before she died is said to have been revealed in a bombshell book.

She got the nickname even before she became queen.

The play on the French name for the queen, La Reine, delighted the then-Duchess of Cornwall, but not the then-Prince of Wales, now the King, the Daily Mail reported.

In his bombshell book, Hardman said Camilla’s friend told him: “She always saw the funny side of it – even if Prince Charles didn’t.”

The debate over Camilla’s title when Charles became king lasted almost two decades.

Before Charles and Camilla married in 2005, royal advisers believed Camilla did not want to be queen and instead “intended” to be known as princess consort, a term never before used in British history, although she would was still legally the queen.

Hardman also revealed her grandchildren call her “Ga-Ga” as she shares intimate stories about a woman who “knows when to wink at the bishop,” hits the king with her purse and dances at Abba concerts.
