Geetha Madhuri was born on August 24, 1989 (34 years old) in Palakollu, Andhra Pradesh. She went to school in her hometown Hyderabad, Telangana. She is a commerce graduate from Loyola College, Secunderabad, Telangana. In 2008, she came into limelight for singing the song “Ninne Ninne” from the Telugu film “Nachavule”, for which she won the Nandi Award for Best Female Singer.

Geetha Madhuri has been interested in singing since her childhood. She started learning classical music from Smt. Kocherlakota Padmavati Garu joined the “Little Academy of Musicians” at a very young age and received training in light music under the guidance of Ramachari Garu.
Before singing professionally, she participated in ETV’s Telugu singing reality show “SYE Singer Challenge” and became one of the semi-finalists. She also participated in the singing reality show “Super Singer Season 7” aired on MAA TV.
After that, she started singing professionally in the song “Bakka Sikkina” from the movie “Premalekha Raasa” in 2006.
She has composed many super hit songs for the South Indian film industry such as “Pakka Localo” from the movie “Janatha Garage” (2016), “Darlingey” from the movie “Mirchi” (2013), “Top” from the movie “Iddarammayilatho” Lesipoddi” (2013), “O My God” from the movie “The Bodyguard”, etc.
She has also sung many devotional songs like “Govinda Namalu” from the album “Govinda Namalu”, “Madhuram Sri Shirdi Sai” and “Naadho Needho” from the album “Sri Shirdi Sai”, “Muddula” from the album “Ayyappa” Ayyappa” etc. She has also sung on many private albums.
