Gen V and The Boys Cast Members Pay Tribute to Chance Perdomo After His Death at Age 27

Chance Perdomo is remembered by his colleagues and friends after his death.

Tributes have been pouring in for the late actor — who tragically died on Saturday at the age of 27 — from the cast Boys and its spinoff series Gen Vin which Perdomo starred.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who played student Luke Riordan alongside Perdom in Gen Vhe wrote on x (ex-Twitter) of his co-star, “This hurts. So much. What a young talented actor and great friend – gone too soon. It was a pleasure working with him on ‘Gen V.’ RIP Chance ❤️ ❤️ ❤️.”

30-year-old actor later reposted the photo him in character hugging Perdom, who portrayed student Andre Anderson in the series, and he wrote in response: “Damn, that just made me cry.”

Chance Perdomo, known for Gen V and After Franchiza, died at 27

Gen V actor Robert Bazzocchi, who played college student Liam, paid tribute to his late costar in a comment on Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television’s statement on Instagram, writing “Wow. The first thing I said to him at the pilot table was that he was one of my favorite actors Sabrina.”

“He stands out. So much talent and a warm soul,” he continued. “My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace.”

Perdomo died as a result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, a representative for Perdomo told PEOPLE in a statement. No other persons were injured in the accident.

Last year, Perdomo starred in the Amazon Prime series ‘Gen V’ as student Andre Anderson.

Perdomo appeared as Andre Anderson in the Amazon Prime superhero television series and spin-off Boys, Gen V, whose first season debuted last September. After his death, Deadline first reported that the filming of the second season has been delayed.

On Saturday, Boys stars also paid tribute to the late actor after his death.

Antony Starr, who portrays Homelander on the show, described Perdom’s death as “So bloody tragic,” on his Instagram Story,

Jessie T. Usher, who plays Reggie Franklin, also shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing: “🕊️🙏🏾 Tragic news. Rest in peace Chance. Thanks for giving us ‘Andre’. ”

Colleague Boys cast members Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty and Karen Fukuhara reposted a statement on Instagram about Perdom’s death and a photo of him shared by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television on their own Instagram Stories in tribute to the late actor.

The cast of ‘The Boys’ and ‘Gen V’ have paid tribute to the late actor.

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos shared the actor’s accolade on Instagram, honoring his work on The Creepy Adventures of Sabrina.

“Chance was a gifted young actor lost too soon. He was so great to work with The Creepy Adventures of Sabrina. Everyone at Netflix sends love and strength to all of Chance’s family and his extended family of friends.”

As well as his roles in Gen V and Sabrina, Perdomo — who was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Southampton, England, according to Deadline — was also known for his role as Landon Gibson in After movie franchise.

Perdom’s family and representatives announced his death in a statement to PEOPLE on Saturday, “His passion for art and insatiable zest for life were felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will continue in those he loved most.”

“We ask that you respect the family’s desire for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved son and brother,” the statement concluded.
