Gene Hackman lived with his wife’s body who probably don’t know she’s dead – because officials discovered the tragic last days of the actor.
The actor, 95, died of a heart condition about a week after his wife was killed with a rare disease of rodents, a medical examiner said at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

While living with the heavy Alzheimers, Dr. Heather Jarrell said she probably did not realize Hackman that her wife Betsy Arakawa was dead.
It was found in the kitchen without food in the stomach but did not show signs of dehydration.
The last signal of the actor’s landscape was from February 18th.
Arakawa and the dog were found in the bathroom, with scattered tablets from open bottles on the bathroom counter.
She died on February 11th from a disease called Hantavirus, said the doctor, who spread the infected rodent trips.
Dr. Jarrell said, “It is quite possible that he was not aware that she had passed away.”
She continued: “Mr Hackman showed evidence of an advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
“He was in a very poor state of health.
“He had significant heart disease and I think that ultimately resulted in his death.”
She added: “There is no reliable method for determining time or date of death, but it is probably likely that Mr. Hackman died around February 18th.

“And on the basis of the circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that Mrs. Hackman died first, and on February 11th she was the last time she was known to be alive.”
Symptoms of hantavirus infection include fever, muscle pain and cough, which can progress to the shortness of breath and heart failure or lung.
It is not portable between people, and Hackman did not arrange the disease.
The disease is very rare, with only 864 cases documented in the United States between 1993 and 2022, according to the centers for the control and prevention of the disease.
The tragedy of the triple death in Hackman’s house was covered for more than a week for a mystery.
The offense was considered unlikely from the beginning, and numerous theories about death spinned.
The bodies of Hackman and his wife were found in different rooms.
The double winner of the Oscar was discovered completely dressed in a wet room outside the kitchen, and his reeds placed next to him, the search order said.
And Betsy was found on the bathroom floor near the space heater.

One of the three German Shepherd dogs was also found dead in the bathroom cabinet.
Adan Mendoza, Santa Fe County Sheriff, pointed out the final movements of Arakawa.
On February 9, she picked up a dog who was later found dead by the vet after the procedure.
Then, in the afternoon of February 11, Arakawa went shopping on the farmer market, CVS and pet food stores.
She returned to their community in prison around 5:15 pm – and she did not have a better contact with anyone other than Hackman, Sheriff said.
All her e -her rates remained unprotected after that date.
Dr. Erin Phipps, a vet, said it was possible that the dog died of lack of food and water.
Dogs can’t get sick of hantavirus, she noticed.
Early theory was that carbone monoxide poisoning killed a couple and their cannon, but last week he revealed to negative chemical tests.
The authorities said last week that death in nature “suspicious enough to require a thorough search and investigation.”
