Gerard Butler reveals he almost killed co-star Hilary Swank with alligator clips while filming movie scene PS: I love you. This romantic drama film, released in 2007, was directed by Richard LaGravenese and adapted from the novel of the same name by Cecelia Ahern. Unfortunately, the alligator clip got stuck on a prop on the set and ended up shooting through Butler’s head and into Swank’s head, requiring the acclaimed actress to go to the hospital. “[Hilary Swank] She was so cool and awesome to work with, I almost killed her. [Laughs] You know the scene where I dance [am wearing] Sling? I shot that scene for a day and a half, and I had to dance like an idiot in suspenders. At one point, the crocodile clip got stuck on the TV as I crawled toward her, and she was right in front of me, laughing hysterically.The camera guy has these plastic front panels to protect himself from the alligator because I have to inspect it and it goes away [flying] Pass in front of me. I crawled towards the bed and it got stuck and it came loose and flew over my head and hit her in the head, slashing her head. I mean, I cut her open.You can even see their teeth [crocodile]. She had to be taken to hospital. I just sat there in my boxer shorts, boots, and a pair of socks, and I just started crying. “
