According to reports, Ghalib secured 19th rank in the state with 94.8% in the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) Class 10 examination. Ghalib passed the 12th Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) examination held at SRM Welkins School in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir, with 88 per cent marks. On the day of the Class 12 results, Ghalib expressed his joy and shared his goal of becoming a doctor as it was his father’s wish. He said,
We learn from past mistakes. My father could not pursue his medical career (at Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences). I want to finish it. ”
According to sources, after completing his studies, Ghalib continued to prepare for the NEET exam and registered for the exam at a coaching center in Srinagar; however, he could not crack it. Later, he decided to prepare for the civil service examination. His good grades provided him with the opportunity to study for a medical degree at a university in Turkey on a scholarship.

According to media reports, on June 4, 2002, Afzal Guru and others were charged with Section 102-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 3(2) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA). ), Section 302 (Murder) of the Explosives Act. According to reports, on August 4, 2005, the Supreme Court confirmed Afzal Guru’s death sentence. On October 3, 2006, Tabasum Guru (Afzal’s wife) filed a clemency petition against former President Dr. Abdul Kalam, but the petition was suspended in February 2013 It was rejected by then President Pranab Mukherjee on the 3rd. Afzal Guru was hanged and died in Delhi’s Tihar Jail at 8:00 am on February 9, 2013.
