STRICTLY Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has been hit with new allegations over his behavior following his shock exit from the show.

She said of Giovanni: “I’ve known him for years as a co-contestant and he did terrible things to me.

“I won’t talk about my experiences with him, but I’m glad the world sees him as he really is.

“I’ll leave it at that.”

Korina was considered for Strictly as part of a push for younger professionals in 2016, but BBC bosses settled on Chloe Hewitt.

He now performs for dance company Burn the Floor, working with dozens of ex-Strictly dancers.

The Sun revealed last week that the BBC was launching an internal investigation into Giovanni’s behavior during the popular Saturday night spectacle.

And the 33-year-old has since left the show as three of his former celebrity dance partners filed separate complaints with high-end law firm Carter-Ruck.

They have not been named but are understood to include Amanda Abbington, who left the latest series early, claiming she was bullied, The Sun revealed on Sunday.

A source who has worked with dancers who have performed with Giovanni on his tours told The Sun that Corinne’s experience has been replicated by others.

They claim that one dancer was exhausted by the “painful repetition of numbers” in rehearsals, and one professional had an argument with Gia over “the lack of breaks”.

Our source said: “Gio is either in top form or you’re in for a hell of a day.

“He is a self-confessed perfectionist and this was forced upon the cast and crew on tour. Many have little positive to say about their experiences.”

Giovanni has defended himself strongly following news of complaints against him on Strictly.

He said on social media: “I reject any suggestion of abusive or threatening behavior and look forward to clearing my name.”

Carter-Ruck confirmed that he is gathering evidence to present to the BBC.

The Sun can also reveal Giovanni’s former Strictly partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who he won with in 2021, has distanced herself from him following the complaints.

A source said: “Rose finds the situation difficult. She had a great experience with Gia so she’s really shocked by everything.”

Giovanni told The Sun that he would not comment further.
