An eight-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital and a horse died after a van plowed into them in a horrific crash.
The tragic crash, involving a white Ford Transit van, happened in Launceston, Cornwall, at around 2.20pm on Sunday.

The young man was airlifted to hospital from the scene in Higher Treween in Altarnun with serious injuries.
A 12-year-old girl who was leading the horse was not injured in the accident.
After the incident, the veterinarians had to humanely put the horse down.
Police have arrested a 61-year-old man from Launceston on suspicion of failing to stop after a collision, failing to report a collision, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
He is still in police custody.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police investigating a serious road traffic accident near Launceston on Sunday January 12 are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
“The road was closed while the investigation took place, and it was reopened around 4:15 p.m.
