Guinness and Green Food! What Stars Like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Ate for St. Patrick’s Day

Celebrities made sure to get into the spirit of this Saint’s Day.

On Sunday, March 17, the stars shared their green foods and traditional Irish cuisine for the holiday. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton opted for a classic Irish drink while preparing their St. Patrick’s Day feast. Paddy.

The couple clinked glasses of Guinness while Shelton prepared the barbecue, according to Stefani’s Instagram story. At the grill, the country star watched over Tomahawk steaks and ribs. Meanwhile, inside the house, the “Just a Girl” singer peeled potatoes while wearing a formal green flannel dress.

Kim Kardashian has expressed her love for Guinness in the past, but it seems she hasn’t been sipping any Irish stout this year.

The founder of SKIMS started her St. Patrick’s Day with a bright green breakfast. She shared a photo of green yogurt with granola, green grapes, kiwi, banana and blueberries. She paired the bowl with an iced green juice.

Later in the day, Kardashian snapped a photo of a triple berry cake from Sweet Lady Jane Bakery in Los Angeles. The vanilla cake has no green or Irish touches, but the Kardashian served it on a plate decorated with shamrocks.

Kim isn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner who shared her St. Patrick’s Day spread on Sunday. Paddy’s. Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram to show off a large platter of pistachio-crusted baklava and pecan pastries from Suzy’s Sweets Boutique in Pasadena, California.

“You have no idea how delicious this is!!!” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Along with sweets, Khloé posted a large order of Armenian food. From koftis to stuffed vine leaves and chicken kebabs and sweet salads, it was an extensive food offering from the Carousel restaurant.

“The best Armenian restaurant ever,” Khloé wrote on social media, adding that the restaurant was her late father Robert Kardashian’s favorite. “We’re all drooling over it.”

This year, the lifestyle expert shared a series of pictures from dinner with friends. The menu included corned beef, carrot and beet soup, Irish soda bread and a key lime pie that was out of this world.

“Just took me all day to put it together,” Stewart joked in her caption. “And I neglected to photograph the corned beef buffet b!!!!!! Damned!!!!!”

While she may have forgotten photos of the main course, the celebrity chef did post photos of the pretty table, which included matching green bowls and cake stands in her signature jadeite. In addition, there were a few details inspired by nature such as wooden planters holding shamrocks and large green leaves as coasters.
