At least 10 people, including two children, were killed and four were injured in a horrific shooting in Montenegro.
Police officers identified the attacker as 45-year-old Aca Martinović, who killed the owner of the bar, the owner’s children and members of his own family in the city of Cetinje, said Interior Minister Danilo Saranović.

The suspected attacker reportedly died of his injuries on Thursday after attempting suicide.
The attacker, whom the police identified as Aleksandar Martinović (45), tried to take his own life near his house in the town of Cetinje, and he died of his injuries on the way to the hospital, Saranović confirmed.
Police director Lazar Šćepanović said at the press conference that the suspect killed four people in the bar.
The attacker then moved to three other locations, killing more people, including two children.
He had been drinking most of the day, officers said.
Šćepanović added that the suspect was given a suspended sentence for violent behavior in 2005, and he also appealed the last sentence for illegal possession of weapons.
Montenegrin media reports that the suspect was known for his erratic and violent behavior.
State broadcaster RTCG reported that the suspect was in a “conflict” with another person at the bar and went home to grab a gun before returning and opening fire.

It is also claimed that he went to another location and killed the bar owner’s children, along with his wife, in a heinous attack.
The RTCG report, which published Martinović’s photo on its website, states that he is known for his erratic behavior and that he was previously detained for illegal possession of weapons.
President Jakov Milatović said he was “shocked and stunned” by the shooting.
On X he said: “Instead of holiday cheer, we were gripped by sadness over the loss of innocent lives.”
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić went to the hospital where the injured are being helped.
Spajić also declared three days of mourning without specifying how many were killed.
He said: “This is a terrible tragedy that has affected us all.
“All the police teams are out.”
The Police Administration of Montenegro announced that all available police units are on the ground and are undertaking activities within their jurisdiction.
Mass shootings are rare in Montenegro, despite a deep-rooted gun culture.
Little Montenegro, which has about 620,000 people, is known for its gun culture and many people traditionally have guns.
Wednesday’s shooting was the second shooting in the past three years in Cetinje, the historic capital of Montenegro.
In August 2022, the attacker killed 10 people, including two children, before being shot dead by a passerby in Cetinje.
