Hoda Kotb rings in the new year – in family style. In pictures she posted to her Instagram on New Year’s Eve, Hoda Kotb shared a glimpse of her intimate holiday celebration with her two daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5.
In one of the photos, the mother-daughter trio posed on a couch, wearing sparkly outfits and tiaras and waving multi-colored glow sticks to celebrate the occasion. Behind them, large golden balloons with the words “2025” hung from the wall. Kotb also shared a sweet video of her daughters singing and dancing to Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” during their family celebration.

After recently moving into a new home in the New York suburbs, Kotb and her daughters headed to the West Coast to celebrate New Year’s. There, Kotb will mark a milestone as he hosts the Rose Bowl Parade for the last time in Pasadena, California on January 1st.
Of her move, Hoda recently told PEOPLE, “I think change is good for kids. I feel like another thing I’ve learned from the podcast is that more people are changing, getting back to their roots and going back to other … They just get stronger. It’s still scary when you’re up in the air and your roots are dangling, but when you’re planted in really rich soil, you feel like the more you work, the better you are.”

While out west for the parade, Kotb, 60, also shared a Dec. 29 Instagram post that she and her daughters stopped by Disneyland before the New Year’s festivities. With photos of a family of three posing in front of the Disney castle and with Frozen characters Elsa and Anna, Kotb captioned the post, “Oh, what fun!”
The 136th Tournament of Roses Parade marks the 10th anniversary of Hod Kotb hosting the iconic event. He shares the host’s duties with a long-time employee Today show personality Al Roker, who praised their partnership, saying, “I’ve been doing this for 25 years and I can’t think of anyone better than you to do it with.” Kotb announced that she will be leaving the Today show on September 26. Kotb’s last day on the show will be January 10, 2025.

Like, so be it. Well, yes, it’s scary. Yes, it’s scary – it’s all those things… but it’s also completely true.”
