For Gwen Stefani, a birthday isn’t complete without Blake Shelton!
The No Doubt frontwoman turned 55 on Thursday, October 3, and she celebrated the occasion with her country singer husband by her side.
Stefani marked her special day with a sweet photo of the pair embracing and used the caption to express her gratitude to Shelton, 48.

“@blakeshelton thank you for the best birthday!!” the “Hollaback Girl” singer wrote alongside the post on Instagram, which she signed with: “Gx.”
On her Instagram Stories, Stefani added a more candid photo of the long-time couple: a shot of them soaking up the autumn weather on a walk.
In the video, both Stefani and Shelton rested their hands on each other’s backs and rocked matching white baseball caps as they walked together.

A day after the “Don’t Speak” musician’s birthday, Shelton posted a tribute to his wife, whom he called his “favorite girl,” on Instagram.
The “God’s Country” singer shared the carousel post, which he started with a smiling selfie and a shot of the pair performing on stage side by side.
He also included a photo of Stefani sitting on his lap and wrapped the tribute post with a selfie the pair took in the side mirror.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite girl.. my beautiful girl @gwenstefani!!!!!” Shelton wrote in the caption “I LOVE YOU!!!!!”

Stefani’s birthday comes shortly after she opened up about one of the reasons she fell in love with Shelton, who she met while training Vote and got married in 2021.

“The thing about Blake is you never go a day without laughing,” she told host Jennifer Hudson. “You know what I mean? Which is simple—it doesn’t even matter what happens. The guy has so much patience and so much kindness in his heart.”
Stefani added, “It just makes you happier every day.”

The “Hella Good” singer went on to note that “laughter” is an important part of life that “we all chase,” which makes her even happier to have Shelton.
