Shaila Marsh has been working at the animal park since the age of 21. Horses have always played an important role in her life – especially Brownen, whom Shaila has raised and loved since childhood. They have been friends for almost 20 years.
Unfortunately, in old age, Marsh was diagnosed with cancer. On her hospital bed, she expressed her only wish: to see her beloved horse Brownen again.
The horse came to say goodbye to its owner. No one can keep their tea! Her health deteriorated and Shaila’s daughter, Tina Marsh, sought medical help.
The doctors readily answered and said they would help make the dying woman’s last wish come true. The house came to say goodbye to its owner. No one can hold back the tears!
When Brown approached her, Shaila was on the moon. With the last of her strength, she whispered the horse’s name, and Bronwen buried her nose in her cheek. According to Tina:
“Mother had a hard time talking on her last day, but she called out BrÅnwen’s name clearly and asked to kiss her.” Brown leaned down and kissed Shaila lightly.
It is amazing how strong emotions are born between living things – both humans and horses. We seem to live for the people in our hearts, and this sacred closeness knows no bounds. Apparently, Shaila couldn’t leave without saying goodbye.
