Halle and Chloe Bailey Tease New Music in 2024: ‘We’re Working on Really Exciting Things’ (Exclusive)

Halle and Chloe Bailey have big plans for 2024!

While speaking exclusively to PEOPLE about their partnership with CORE Hydration, the sister musicians, who make up Chloe x Halle, also talk about plans to release music together this year, after both have recently ventured into solo acting and musical endeavors.

When asked if their fans can expect to hear new songs soon, Halle, 23, teased, “I would definitely just say that you’re going to see new music and new projects, and more if you see us together.”

“It’s more of a blessing, and we’re really grateful and excited to continue,” the star adds.

“The possibilities are endless and I’m really proud of my sister and I’m proud of myself,” says Chloe, 25. “We still have a long way to go so we’re just going to keep pushing.”

Chloe and Halle Bailey Reveal Their ‘Irresistible’ Red Carpet Secret (Exclusive)

Halla and Chloe’s last joint effort was their album An ungodly hourwhich was published in June 2020.

Other projects the sisters have released together include their debut album, The children are fineplus mixtapes, The two of usand EP such as Uncovered and Sugar symphony.

After release from An ungodly hourwhich included their hit single “Do It”, Chloe released her debut solo album, In partsin March 2023. Meanwhile, Halle released her first solo single, “Angel”, the same year.

The singing sisters have also recently been involved in various acting projects, including a live-action film version Little Mermaid and musical arrangement Purple for Halle, i Jane, praise this and The Georgetown Project for Chloe.

Chloe Bailey says she and sister Halle felt ‘separation anxiety’ while pursuing solo careers

Looking ahead, Chloe tells PEOPLE that the projects she and her sister are working on behind them have a lot of meaning.

“We’re definitely working on really exciting things together and it’s been very nostalgic,” she teases. “It brings us back to our roots and we can’t wait to introduce it to the world.”

“I think it’s definitely going to be big,” adds the “Treat Me” singer.

Later this year, Chloe will perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, marking her first solo performance after she and her sister performed together in years past.

“I’m really excited to be on stage at Coachella,” says Chloe. “My sister and I did Coachella together maybe four or five years ago, so I’m a little nervous because I won’t be with my other half, but I’m definitely going to make sure I put on a show.”
