Halle Bailey knows the importance of putting comfort above all else while traveling.
In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE, the singer and actress, 24, opens up about one travel trick she swears by that makes her trips so much more “comfortable.”
“I’m kind of a germaphobe, so I have to bring all my sanitizing wipes,” says Bailey, who has partnered with the Marriott Bonvoy Bold credit card from Chase for the new Bold Chat Court contest.
“And then traveling through the airport, I still wear my mask. I just feel like the privacy is also good, as well as blocking bacteria,” she continues.
The mother of one adds that her entire outfit at the airport is made up of selected dresses. “I have to wear my big shades, I only have to wear big sweatpants — I have to be comfortable,” she says.

According to Bailey, there are “a lot” of tourist destinations she’s been to that she’s a big fan of.
“I love St. Lucia. I love, love to go there,” she says. “I would also say the Maldives. I really want to go back. I’ve only been once, but it’s probably top of my holiday list. It was so beautiful, like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Bora Bora was beautiful too.

As for the places she hasn’t visited yet that are on her travel bucket list, Bailey tells PEOPLE that a few locations stand out from the rest.
“I really, really want to go to Ghana. I’ve heard so many good things about there. I’ve heard great things about Bali, about Greece. I’ve never been to Greece, to Mykonos. I really want to go,” she says. – The list can be continued.

Chloe Bailey confirms her second album will feature a new Chloe x Halle song: ‘Just Felt Like Old Times’
Bailey says travel has always been a part of her life, given her career in the entertainment industry.
“I think traveling has become a necessity from a young age,” she explains. “It gave me the opportunity to be in LA because I’m from Georgia.”
“I think the first time I got on a plane to LA, I was about five or six years old, and I was coming for pilot season. And, you know, you hear those things when you get out here just to be in a place where dreams come true.” , adds Bailey.
As for the travel spots she plans to visit before the end of the year, the star – who is one half of sister duo Chloe x Halle – says: “I have to go to New York in a couple of weeks. I have to go to London for work. The work never stops for me. ”
“But as far as a leisurely vacation,” she continues, “I think I really, really, really, really want to get back to Mexico at some point before it gets too cold. So I’m trying to do that before the end of October.”
