Halle Berry Reveals She and Costar Angelina Jolie Had ‘Rocky Start’ but It Will ‘Serve Us Well’ on Screen

Halle Berry is excited about her upcoming movie starring Angelina Jolie – despite their partnership’s rocky start.

In an interview published on Wednesday, Berry, 57, revealed Diversity at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she and Jolie, 48, “had a rocky start” to work Maude vs. Maude.

However, she added, “I think it will serve us well in our screen time together.”

The film, which Deadline describes as “a ‘Bond vs. Bourne’ type of global action thriller,” ended up in the hands of distributor Warner Bros. after a fierce bidding war in April.
