Kim Kardashian wants the best for her children, regardless of their future careers.
The reality star and mogul, 43, opened up about managing her business career in the latest episode Mavericks with Mav Carter dropped that Wednesday, saying she doesn’t expect her children North, 10, Saint’s, 8, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, to necessarily follow in her entrepreneurial footsteps.
“I want them to do whatever makes them happy,” Kardashian told the SpringHill CEO when asked if she would be a similar mom to her famous “momager” Kris Jenner.
She further explained that North and Saint’s interests are already taking shape. “I can already see what they’re into and I love their creative energy and I can kind of tell where my older two are going to go,” Kardashian said. “North certainly feels like a creative person. Saint feels like a creative.”

However, the founder of Skims said that it is too early to talk about her two younger children. “Male, Chicago and Psalm? If you ask Psalm what he wants to do, he wants to be like a truck driver or anything with a truck,” she said. “It’s been like his Halloween costume for like three years.”
Kardashian shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West (46).
Speaking of his younger daughter, The Kardashians the star added that Chicago is “just a princess” and that she doesn’t know what she will be in the years to come.
“But I definitely see him up north,” Kardashian continued. “And I don’t think I will ever push her to do anything. It’s about what she finds her passion in… More about what she cares about.”

That view, Kardashian told Carter, stems from wanting to protect North and her other children from whatever she can, aware of the pressures of growing up in the spotlight.
“I grew up so normal, not in the world of fame. I couldn’t even imagine,” she said. “I want to make sure I can protect her as much as I can, and her parents as they are.”

Kardashian’s statements come after she was seen The Kardashians teaching North the art of constructive criticism, after admitting that her eldest has a habit of being “critical” and giving harsh “notes” to different designers during screenings.
“It’s just her vibe,” the mom of four said, noting North’s tendency to put it too bluntly. “North won’t lie, and that’s amazing. So I’m trying to teach her that you don’t just jump in and destroy people for no reason. There’s a way to tone it down.”
“There is a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings, so I want you to learn that,” she told her oldest daughter. “Because there’s a way to say, ‘You know, maybe I don’t like it.’ ”

Speaking with GQ for the cover of their Men of the Year issue last month, the SKIMS founder opened up about her parenting style, saying that while she doesn’t talk to a therapist herself, the mom of four does consult with him when it comes to her kids.
“I tried it a little bit before my marriage ended,” Kardashian said of the therapy. “I have a therapist who only deals with child psychology that I talk to for parenting advice. Sometimes I feel challenged by parenting.”
