Halle Berry is helping those in need in Los Angeles amid ongoing wildfires in the area that have left thousands homeless.

In her video, she shared a look at a donation drive launched at COOP, a small home improvement business in Beverly Hills, California. She showed the shop around from the outside before going inside to show people how they organize donations of items like blankets and clothes.
“I’m from Meadville, Pennsylvania, and Margaret Meade’s famous quote says never forget that a group of thoughtful, dedicated citizens can make a difference,” Berry said in her video. “We’re at COOP… we’re collecting used clothes for children, men, women, children – people who have been displaced and affected by the fire.”

“We have beautiful cashmere sweaters, jeans, new socks, shoes, clothes, blankets…” she continued. “You can come and shop. You can also donate.”
In the description of the video, she wrote: “I’m packing my entire closet and going to the COOP! If you live in the Southern California area, I encourage you to do the same.”
