Hallmark Channel Responds to Ted Lasso’s Callout in Christmas in Notting Hill: Watch the Clip (Exclusive)

Love wasn’t the only thing in the air in Hallmark Channel’s new holiday movie Saturday night, Christmas in Notting Hill.

In a season 3 episode of the Emmy favorite, Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) tells the team they’re “so inoffensive we could be a Hallmark Christmas movie.” When the crew looks confused, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) asks what a Hallmark Christmas movie is.

“Hallmark Christmas movies are movies about big city women falling in love with their childhood crushes,” Ted begins. “It’s usually some guy who has a Christmas tree farm. Sometimes he’s also Santa Claus or a prince.”

Ted admitted, “They’re bad, but they’re great – but they’re also mostly bad, but they’re also kind of great. They’re good with the sound off.”
